Not getting any response from "Contact Us"

In the past month, I have sent 3 messages to "Contact Us", and no one has responded...that is probably a response in itself. I guess this forum has someone running it, but I see no evidence of it.

Last month, I wanted my user name changed, and figured my reasonable request would be quickly honored, but nothing. Very disappointing.

Now, I just want off of this forum. I want my user name deleted, and all trace of my posts gone. I probably shouldn't hold my breath. Pathetic!

There's a "Contact Us" button? Who knew? Wow.

User names don't generally get changed on forums too often, from what I've observed.
Heck, on this forum, Al ("Shimmer") is still waiting...

Dumb question: With only six posts, why not just abandon your user name and create a new one?

Not the sort of thing I'd leave a forum for, but, hey, it's up to you.

- Eric

ps: I seem to recall one of the site founders trying to "resign" and finding it impossible.
CO is sort of like a gang that way .

I don't recall receiving a PM from you, a notification in the Adminstrators' section, or an e-mail about your requests. To find out more about this I am investigating how the "contact us" function works. Perhaps you found a button on our site that doesn't work, not sure............I apologize for your experience and will figure out what is going on.

David, we probably have a technical issue with the Contact link going to an old email. Rather than getting mad and posting this very public thread, did you PM any moderator or Administrator? If so and they ignored you, then we have a real issue. If not, how about you give us a chance to fix your issue before you slam the entire staff? We're happy to help. I Oldsguy and I usually respond to PMs within about a day or less. Why not give us a try?

Really, don't leave we like ALL olds fans. Please stay.
I actually have the same problem . I asked to have my old name/ account active under my new e-mail adress no response. Maybe one of you really nice, cool, good looking , super smart moderators could fix it.

Mike

Hey Eric, that's what I thought about doing. Starting all over. When I started on here I just used one of my dogs name. If I kne I was like country music, and here to stay, I would have used Al Graff-I like the names so everyone knows who we really are, it's sorta like a hyperspace family anyhow. I tell people I've got buddies al over the country!

My screen name is two six cylinder engines, of which neither came in an Oldsmobile! Go figure.

Well, that counts me out....

Actually this is a job for one of the admins. A mod has no control of membership status, so all we could do is pass it to an admin.
I never saw any requests by this user though...

I deleted everything for you except this post, and your profile.

Us moderators put time into this website on a charity/volunteer basis. We do not own the website, just run it free of charge for everyone to enjoy. Far from pathetic in my opinion.
If you have any future issues or questions, it is best to find one of us on here, and send a private message.

By the way J (and everyone else), i observe that Wixom61 has not been back since he started this thread.

Guess this is really important to him .

My faith in the Admins and Mods, though, has been reinvigorated .

Haha! That's good. I have to remember that the next time someone complains because it's true. Sometimes it gets to you though, but not too much. Time for a cup of coffee.

Welcome to CO and like MD said. You posted two questions by just posting here so..............not sure what you mean. If you want to know how to start a thread just go to the forum that is applicable and use the 'new thread' button near the top left. As far as the contact us function goes. I haven't gotten a message yet.
