I am also experiencing this problem. Hopefully it is something that Omicron can figure out...

The "new posts" gives nothing but a blank page, but IE says "done".

I've had luck going to the threads manually. Of course, it takes longer. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Same here, not that it worked before. I would log on and it would say 132 new post. Click on it and I would get 26 new post. Whats up with that? JKaz

I can't find a post that another member made throught the user CP. Any link in the user CP is broken.

I'm beginning to see how site ownership by a large corperation has been such a wonderful benifit here. And don't tell me I'm not the only one thinking it.

Yep, I am having the same problem with the "New Post" button, when I click on it it says that I have to wait 15 seconds between searches and to try again in 7 seconds.

Well, at least I'm not the only one. It's happening here at home and on the work computer so I figured it was something in my profile, which nothing has changed. Tried logging out, clearing cookies and all that and still can't get the new posts.

Pls fix! I'm nearly going into withdrawal here!

Yah John, I'm thinking it too. It's like Clear Channel Communications radio stations- they start off kicking *** and in a few weeks are down to the same playlist of 100 songs or so. Outsized corporate entities are rarely efficient but when they have the market in a stranglehold, not much average Joe can do.

Somebody, somewhere, can fix the problem. If they can't maybe we should look into a new host?

John, I will admit thinking that. The thing I am finding really frustrating is [U]NOBODY is saying a thing about fixing it. Very unlike Dan and Omnicron.

It's possible that there is something going on beyond thier control. I know I personally have had some email server problems over on OP that I just can't seem to fix. New software would probably do it, but I'm not (nor my counterpart) going to shell out $700 for software that MAY fix it. But that is a privately run site where there are but one or two sponsors and the rest is out of pocket.

I'm not saying they are doing nothing, I'm just saying they may not have the run of the place like they once had, and now have to go to the "boss" for the fix, and its low on the totem pole.

They are the new host. They own the site, and all the software and files within. There is no one (now) that can pick up and move the site to another server other than IB.

It is a programing issue. As long as the site is up I doubt that anyone cares on the other end.

People get pissed, traffic goes down, ad revenue goes down, sponsors leave, site shuts down. It can't get much more straightforward.

X2. This sounds like a partial meltdown like we just went through. But we still survived. Let's have some faith in the IT guys. I'm sure they're as frustrated as we are, and it's highly unlikely they haven't noticed the problem by now. But if they don't know the answer, it would be premature to post. IMHO though, it would however be nice to hear "working on it, please be patient. Don't know how long it will be.....Thanks for understanding".

I addressed this and similar issues/complaints on another thread, just didn't see this one as well. I contacted IB via an e-mail and it has since been fixed.
