If you plan to work on your cars I'd encourage you to get a Chassis
Service Manual for each year. Here's one on ebay that would cover your Toronado. These cover all Oldsmobile models for that year and have a lot of good information including the wiring schematic in color. John

As I mentioned in your other thread, you really need a factory service manual.

While you're at it, you'll want the Fisher Body Manual. Some things are covered there instead of the chassis manual.

It turns out that, while there's a huge, colorful, detailed wiring diagram in the chassis service manual, the wiring diagram for the power windows is one of those things that's in the Fisher Body Manual. I have one for '78, and I've scanned the relevant page and shown it below. I don't know for sure that '77 was the same, but I'm guessing it was.

The Toronado is an "E" body style (same as Cadillac Eldorado).
