Well the olds is just too hot. So we tinted windows today 35% using 3m
Should cut heat down 20% I did feel a deference just not sure it's that much

Pre cut and shrunk to fit the window

Josh being ocd with it took him a few try's between dirt and cutting by hand usually has template

Well Macadoo, I am not sure every one would agree lol. this is a above amateur restoration. I am proud to say that my doors fenders don't have Any filler at all and it shows as there a little wavy. My quarter repaires were done by a collision expert in his spare time there by far not perfect as we didn't test fit parts that we should have but hey it's rust free With that all said, this was a very low budget and a lot of friends donating time to build a rare car that is indeed bad a** to me and many others. My total cost on this car to date including three engines is less then 6500 so I hope that this will show that guys can jump in and build there cars on a budget it took a lot of time and wheeling dealing and a great wife and don't forget 5 out of 6 kids help do something on this car at one time or another.
Thanks for your encouragement it helps at frustrating times as these are a hobbie, even though at times they seem like over time with out being paid.
Ps hoping to get the wife a vert not sure if it will be olds or a Buick and I think it will take double the time and cost, but hope to build her a great queen that she can enjoy we have talked about it, but lately she got hooked at the car shows.
Well here is the rear window trim installed kinda can't get the upper right to snap in at the center area

The dash looks great, Justin. Those seals are fun to put on, aren't they? I still have to do the driver's side on mine. Are you having any trouble with the rubber folding when rolling down the windows?
#533
I have not installed my C channel seals for the door glass or my wing window seals yet. My windows are tucked away under my bed waiting to be installed. I also need new rollers but don't know the size for my regulators.
Thanks Eric! She sure has came along

Mac, I have a post car and my seals took all but five minutes to install.

Not much Mac, I did score some 65 Utah plate set that should be here in a week or so, I am very excited to see if I can get then issued to my car. I should be able to, unless some one is currently using the number sequence
Other than that I need to rip out the entire drive train this summer it's getting all new bones
Disk brake conversion 12 bolt olds rear end th400 and my 1969 455 new brakes and cables driveline
Sadly I might not be able to drive it this summer
Any how how is your project Mac?

Dang Justin, just a little light work this summer?! I love the plates, let me know if it works out. I may try the same thing.
Doing a trans and rear gear swap here in a few weeks. TH350 to 200-4r and 2.56s to 3.42s.
I'll cross my fingers for you if you cross your for me, lol.
Geez, a 455....it's going to burn up the road!

Plates are cool, I have already checked with dmv they have no problem issuing them to my car, as long as there isn't a set with the same numbers currently being used. Witch I really doubt there is lol

hey hope to see a new project sooner than later

Alright the heart transplant begins. Its cool the kids still want to be involved. One question, how come you didn't take the whole nose off to include fenders as a unit? Its a lot less bolts and less to align.
#546
1. Painting bottom of hood
2. Painting radiator support and fire wall
3 no where to safely put it intell paint is ready for it
4. I really don't want to re Aline e those fender lol but most likely will be

Slow progress, I have gotten the 455 on a stand need to pull valve covers and see how she looks under there.
Oh ya, guess I over looked that some time in it’s life some one already did the th400 upgrade! I hope the drive line won’t need to be adjusted after rear end swap that could be a few bucks to go towards something else.

Did it come with an oil filter on it? Maybe cut it open and have a look? Have you had the oil pan off? I'd at least plastigauge the mains.
Or, you know, drop 'er in and see what happens
