1997 88 4T60 E Napa filter kit
Planning to do a pan drop as the oil cooler lines are leaking and will be replaced . Picked up this kit from Napa. Can someone tell me where the bushing in the center of the kit goes?
Have done filter changes on other vehicles, none were the 4T60.

The filter pushes up into the valve body. The O ring slips over the tube
on your new filter. Make sure the old one comes off with the old filter.
If not, look up and pull it out with a pick or small screwdriver. There should
be 2 small bolts holding the filter up as well.

Yes tru-blu has it right but the bushing acts like the old school oring. Same idea different setup. I did one on an 04 GP last summer. Had to get a piece of 1x6 flat wise to tap the filter far enough into place.
