As far as chain goes. Oregon does use LP designations. I don't think they use CP

LP is a chain designation by Oregon meaning it's a Full Chisel chain.

Have a junker 77 98 here that just sits. I got it to use as a winter beater last winter. Needs a lot of work, but is mobile.

Has halfway decent doors and really nice quarter panels, good trunk...

This is true. I have taken a 403 crank and bearings and tossed it right into a 350 without issue. I wouldn't have raced it that way however.
