Spark Plug Recommendation #5 355

Looks like the plugs I'm running, AC R43S, are a touch too warm, and looking for a slightly colder plug. Rare I've ever had to drop below a 43 on a street/strip car, but here I am. Any recommendations please?

I used to run AC R45S for whatever that's worth, with my points setup, and never had problems.

I plan on running NGK 5670-8 plugs with my ported #6 heads, 9.6 to 1 and a smallish 204/214 cam. Mine will be street/strip also. Just need to get the swap done.

Hard to believe you need to co colder than that on a street machine. Are you sure your not a bit on the lean side or too much ignition advance?
