Will stock valve covers work with 3/8" spacers?

I am looking at my options for valve covers on my build. Will stock style valve covers clear roller rockers, Harland Sharp, Howards, etc... with 3/8" spacers? The 3/8" spacers would allow me to leave my large power brake booster in place. They offer 3/4" spacers but they would interfere with my booster. If I end up changing the booster this will open up a lot more options.

Thanks

There are alot of threads on this. From what i understand, All roller rockers will fit under stock covers as long as you use the short poly locks. I know first hand the Harland sharp shaft mounted rockers will fit.

Sorry for not searching first. Thanks for the information.

No need to be sorry, I do the same thing. I only find what I am looking for in the search about 25% of the time.

I have holley valve covers on with baffles removed and harland sharp roller rockers never changed the poly locks but have double gaskets on with no problem. But i did go to a 9" brake booster.

I have 3/8 spacers under my stock valve covers with my Edelbrock heads. I'm using Crane rocker arms. I tried double gaskets, the spacer is a much better solution in my opinion. My brake booster is a little smaller than a stock A body booster but there is plenty of room.

This is good news and it will save me a little money in the process. I will be running aluminum heads so they shouldn't stand out too bad.

I'm using the steel magnum tip roller rockers under stock size morose valve covers with single cork fel pro gaskets and using poly locks with one poly lock removed from each side of engine near the baffle..works great if you want to keep the stock valve cover appearance.

There is also a company that is making factory appearing valve covers, but taller. I used a pair on an engine with rocker stud girdles, and they cleared. They also cleared the large factory booster, but that was a 68-72 set-up. Not sure how different the 64-67 is.
The majority of the roller rockers will clear the factory valve covers, but just removing the baffles, and possibly using 2 gaskets. I have done this numerous times with the factory notched valve covers.

That's the route I went, I received my pair of 3/8" spacers on Monday. They look very nice but will require a little material removal to clear the lip on my stamped steel valve covers, easy fix or could run double gasket.

Thanks for the quick service.

Rob,
Thank You for the kind words.
Our spacers fit perfectly on most aftermarket valve covers, some require a little massaging.

For the umpteenth million time, shorter poly locks will help a lot. Most times you can get by with just using an extra gasket.
