Going racing
Going to go racing tomorrow. Tim Yellow65 said he was going racing in Wichita and wanted me to come out! So i am going to make the effort to be there with my SLOW 67 race car. I haven't been racing in over two years. I wouldn't have even think about it except Tim and i raced years ago many times at WIR. No Job means don't race. This will be a exception to the rule and i am pumped. Now the track is called KID. It is time to see my friend and catch up on goings on and race.

As i said at the front of this thread no racing in two years i had lots of racing rust. To kinda sum it up.This is the Nastalgia Drags. I got three time trials your fastest ET is your dial for the rest of the day to eliminate sand baggers. I took out first round last years sportsman champ first round by running on my dial. 11.79 on a 11.7902 Running 87 octane fuel Second round i went 11.7928 on my 11.79 dial and won that round also. Then water box guy in third round screwed me by not getting me set good no burn out basically. So with that i lost third round car didn't run the number. So i helped Tim after that he didn't like the water box guys way of putting him in so i took over setting Tim in. All in all had a great time. Tim you can finish this story if you want or not. All i can say is Oldsmobiles were represented very well.

Good to hear you got back out to the track, sounds like you had a good time with old Oldsmobile friends. The economy is really ramping up with lots of new jobs coming, Geez the Inmet plant in Indiana is coming to Canada to have us build some new dies for them. I'm sure you'll land something very soon.
