Great lakes dragaway BOP days 2016

His nova is on the mend, but not sure when it will be back out. The motor still isn't back together.
He keeps trying to get the dudes for OKC to race his jet car and it's pretty comical watching this on FB. Fanboys of the show keep saying that they have talked to so and so, or something like that, when they don't realize that they have Brian's number and he has theirs.

Robski is giving his age away, although I've been in Dallas since 76, I was born in Milwaukee-South Side and Great Lakes Dragaway is historic! I run some cars there including my 65 Cutlass and my Boss's 69 Judge back in the day-60's 70's.

Congrats to Bob Kelso winning the event and coppercutlass getting the runner up (all Olds final)! It was a nice payday for the low car count. $500 to win and $330 runner up.
Thanks goes to Studio Hot Rods and Milan Obradonivich for the sponsorship.
I'll be sure to have details out way sooner next year.

Thanks. First time going rounds and going that far. Granted it was a small class but I learned alot just by going that much further. I had a great time I will go again if it goes on next year.

The wife and I stopped by but we had to take off by like 2:30pm so I didn't get to see a single Olds run. Every time we wandered over to watch the ricers pulling shitties in the parking lot (What was that, drift? Autocross? Free-form Vehicular Jazz Dance Exploration?) we'd get there and the BOPs would be called.
Don, I said "hey," but it occurs to me now that you probably have never seen me with a mohawk.
I'm going to be honest I think if I drive down to the track this summer I'm going to hit up that parking lot with the rice burners instead of the 1/4 mile.
coppercutlass loved the "Hybrid" badge - gonna have to put a "Flexfuel" on mine now.

I do remember someone saying "hey" as I was buzzing by on the scooter. Next time yell "Rick Finsta", I'll stop and we will shoot the breeze.
