If you just need the glass or the glass and frame they are pressed into then they are the same for a hardtop (non post) or a convertible. If you're looking for the whole assembly the outer frame is specific to a convertible.

Front windshield trim is specific to a convertible

I labeled these as '68 Cutlass & think they are from a convertible but don't remember for sure. Don't know if you need just the glass & the frame it's pressed into or the whole assembly?

Scott,

Here's the pic I posted previously so you can tell the difference between the hardtop and the convertible vent windows

(68 vert one is to the right in the first picture):

Vented

Xlhowie- if you are still in the market I have the LH to Scotts RH, he is amenable so I can hand mine to him at Homecoming & you two could work out shipping, $60 + ship for the pair, here are pic's of mine.

Regards,
Brett

Not sure what you mean that I've posted 2 #'s for LH & 2 diff #'s for RH?

But the above numbers are correct for 68 Cutlii Convertibles vent window assembly, the number shown on the pic's of the frame leg are only for the complete assemble. The glass & other components have their own separate/different numbers. And as Mike stated in post#2 above, the glass & stainless 'frame' around just the glass, is common to other models. But the trim and mounting frame assembly as shown in my pics are to what I am referring the above part numbers.

BTW these vent windows assemblies were used on all a-bodies so they aren't really rare. There's a chevelle guy on Long Island that sells restored sets for a lot of money (like $600-700). I've got three or four core sets that I'm eventually going to trade in to him + cash for a restored set. I got a quote to rechrome mine for like $400. It's hard to find a set that's not pitted.

Thanks for all the good info. What is the chrome condition of the LT one? Not worried about the unseen parts and I have new seals. If the trim is in pretty good condition I'll buy them. My zip is 33578 Riverview Fl.

For 68 Cutlass Conv 246, 247 part numbers

Thx,

Howie

Howie I will take some better pic's after the rain stops this afternoon. I have the LH 247.

Brett

ps don't worry about misinterpretation of the postings, I use my iPhony all the time and its always jumping posts and thus changing peoples intent. No worries.

I am also looking for rear power window set up for both sides. I am wired but all the parts are gone. Know anyone?

I have the glass, need motors and regulators, and guides.

I can't help you with power but if decide to go manual I've got at least one set, maybe two.

I have the RT side and now need LT side, if you have one that doesn't have too many pits in it I'd like to see it.
Thx, Howie
