Thanks to everyone that responded. My cover was plastic and I questioned whether it was original since I thought it should have been metal. I should have come to the forums first. Called one of the parts places to ask and the info I was given was that it should be metal. Received a repro in the mail for a Chevy inspection cover. Anyway, my plastic piece is the correct one. Thanks to all that offered help
