These appear to be all over ebay. Here's a nice-looking one for $20.

Even better, here's one for $6.95 with free shipping.

Sales brochures like this likely have all the 88 Cutlass lineups in them. Note: it's got 15 pages. That's been my experience anyway. For 6.95 how can you go wrong?

OK, I will stop being cheap! I just made the purchase for the $6.95 eBay ad. Thanks for the link. Once I get it, I will let everyone know if it is in there! Thanks again.

Got the Brochure...
Well, it came in the mail today and only lists information and photos about the new body style from 1988. Does anyone know if the 1988 Cutlass Supreme Classic had a brochure? Thanks!

My apologies for the brochure that has no real value to you.

Don't feel bad. It was worth the gamble! I appreciate any additional insight. I am sitting and waiting for the car right now. It was supposed to be here a few hours ago, but the transporter is running late. I am getting tired. 11:06 pm here now. Have a nice night and let me know what you find out!

I think the problem is Olds used the 1987 body line into the early production of 88. I found this information on the web. Some fun and interesting links. The first 2; if you clik the pages they come up full size:

I thought some '88 Cutlass' were leftover '87 that did not sell? I remember a guy at Don Sisk Pontiac in Indy had a white Cutlass GT that was tagged as an '88, but he said they had done the car themselves and called it an '88 GT from an '87.
The car was sweet by the way. White, gray trim just like my '86
442 and had red pinstriping.

umm, no.
Interesting theory, and maybe very plausible. Can't remember how long into th 88 model year the 87 style continued, but I know it wasn't long. IMO the 87/88 Cutlass had the most sophisticated front styling of all those years. It looks great; and you can see where the new 88 models made the front end transition. I prefer the 87 body line over the newer FWD cars though.

Hello folks, thought I would help out on this. What you are looking for are two brochures. The first is a 52-page brochure, 12" x 10", titled "OLDSMOBILE 1988 - THE TENTH DECADE VOL II". It is red with about 1/2" border of grey. The red portion is designed to look like a book. The second brochure I received in the mail from Olds, the outer envelope stated "For 21 years it's been an American standard. This year it becomes a Classic.". Collapsed the brochure is 11" x 9" and folds out to 34" x 9". On the inside it shows a red 77 Cutlass Supreme followed by a gold Supreme Classic. If I did this properly you'll see both of them as thumbnails.
Regarding the 1988 Cutlass Supreme Classic, approx 28K were built for 1988, your choice was the Classic or Classic Brougham, I don't remember the distribution. Believe they ran the small quantity of 1988's to use up parts. I have one of those Classic Broughams myself. There was no GT, Hurst, 442, etc as an option. If you find a 1988 in one of those guises somebody modified it.
Hope this helps. I'll have to post on the new member site next.
