Wanted: 71 Supreme Wide Body Trim

I need the 3 inch wide body trim that goes down each side of the car. The front pieces on the fenders need to be pit free... Email me what you have and pics if possible thanks

Have you gone through the parts for sale section? I believe a member was selling some of this trim recently. John

Just checked their catalogue. The pieces you want are still in production according to the text they put in. (last catalogue I have is 2010) But the trim does not appear to have black inserts. I thought I saw these on ebay recently as repops and they did look good. Maybe they've finished their production run. Somewhat pricey items for the must have collector. Good luck.

I came across one of the front fender pieces, that goes around the sidemarker light. Its not pitted, but it does need replated. Would you like to see pictures of it? John

Here's a 1970 Supreme on Craigslist, about 100 miles from me. His price isn't much more than scrap price... sadly that's what will likely happen to this car. It would be a nice builder for someone, but not enough demand in this part of the country. You might give him a phone call and see if he'd be willing to pull the side trim off for you. If I didn't have my driveway so full right now I'd be going after it myself. Unless its from the Coast it probably doesn't have much cancer type rust, just surface rust. John

The ad has two pictures and the text says: 1970 olds cutlass s,body only, very little rust.call for info:541-580-3270

It's really a Cutlass Supreme, not a Cutlass S

I looked at it more closely and I'm not impressed. If you want to consider it you can have it for shipping costs. The front has a couple small bumps in the chrome and across the very bottom there's some pits. But the backside is rough and the mounting studs look kind of thin to me. Here's a few pictures, let me know what you think. John
