WANT TO BUY - SEATS 1973 DELTA 88 CONVERTIBLE (1972-1975)
I am needing a manual bench front seat with fold down armrest and the back seat - cushion and back - any color. I can use 1972-1975 seats.
My upholstery guy "lost" mine...
Thanks!

Then I would "invite" him to locate and replace the seats, and then recover them on his dime. Tell him if he does that you "might" not press charges for theft.
Actually I think I'd find another trim guy.
You can use any 1971-76 GM B or C body coupe or convertible seats. Doesn't have to limit to Oldsmobile or to 88 convertible. Part of the reason they did the all-electric scissor top was to use a common rear seat structure between the B car 2D HT and the convertible. They already had the all-electric top from the Eldorado so the cost offset was probably substantial, time they amortized the top between all 5 Divisions, and then saved making a convertible-only rear seat. This should not be construed as saying the scissor top was a better idea- it wasn't.
Parts book shows the seat frame interchange is BL57 (Delta coupe, front may or may not have the armrest); BN57-67 (Royale coupe and convertible, front will have the center armrest); CT, CX and CV37 (Ninety Eight Luxury and Regency coupes, front AND rear may have armrest).
I'll admit I never thought the Ninety Eight used the same rear seat structure, but factory parts books are pretty accurate.
GM B= Caprice/Impala, Catalina/Bonneville/GrandVille, Delta/Royale, LeSabre/Centurion.
GM C= Ninety Eight LS/Regency, Electra 225, Cadillac DeVille. I would hesitate trying to use front seats out of a Buick or Cadillac C body as their backrest structure is sometimes different. They may be the same as Oldsmobile.
Good luck, though I'm thinking how in the name of Halifax could anyone "lose" something as big as these seats.
