58 fan shroud
#2
It's got to be one hard to find part. If someone with a Hollander could look it up and see if maybe multiple years would interchange but unless 57 is the same I don't think so. Lots of luck..... Tedd

My 1958 Olds parts book also shows a 1 year type for 1958 (though it has a different number from Charlie's; mine is 573431; I suppose there was a number revision). My Chevy parts book shows neither part number for group 1.277. Hollander doesn't list the shrouds by themselves; but does show 4 different radiators for 1958. (Surprisingly, the Olds parts book only shows two.) Hollander's radiator listings only cross to other Oldsmobiles. I've got a shroud on my '55, but of course that's different from '58.
As Tedd said, you've got a real hunt on your hands.
If you can't find it, you could make one from sheet metal. That's what I did for my 1965 442. The factory shroud was "minimal" and aftermarkets weren't much either. The one I made was more efficient and looked O.K., though it's not "original". If you have to have "original" I hope you have good luck in your hunt.
There "used to be one" in Adams American Auto Wreckers on the eastern end of New Orleans before Katrina came to town. She sent it to the car crusher.
