I need a pair of stainless headlamp retainer rings for my 73 Cutlass. I bought a pair that were supposed to fit, but they are too deep. Need rings that are only about 5/8" deep.

I believe it’s part 5964577. Shows as 73-5 A except T74. I’ve got one nos for $20.

According to my parts book it should be 5964574.

I assume you must have the T74 option whatever that is. I will check that other number on Wednesday.

GM used the same ring for all the single headlight makes/models on the '73-'75 "A" bodies ( i.e. Cutlass, Chevelle, Monte, Century, etc.) as well as other models. And, you're correct...they measure about .60" wide. I also have a couple laying around...and, can bring them home by the dozens from area JY's.

That number shows up as 73-75 Cutlass Supreme inner head lite ring in the inventory. Shows I have 2 NOS at $22 each. Thanks for the number, it makes looking much easier. Regards Pat
