1969 442 hood
WTB 1969 442 hood.
If you have a nice clean 69 442 or cutlass S "double hump" hood for sale I would be interested in purchasing it. I have a #matching 69 442 that needs a clean hood.My options are limited and simple.I either find and purchase a clean used hood or I drive the car without a hood. I have been looking on Craigslist nationwide search for quite some time now. I know this limits me to only vehicles that are actively being sold. If you know of other positive resources,web sites, clubs or meets to be looking at that info would be appreciated.
Please note the following before responding:
1) Im not asking you to be concerned about how much it costs to ship to my location.
2) Im not asking you to get a shipping quote.
3) Im not asking you to build a create to ship it.

Anchorage Alaska. I have lived here 35 years. all of my adult life. I know all about shipping dont need to be told it will cost alot to ship. Please dont take this worng but Ive recieved 2 responses both seem to be focused on my location. If you have a clean hood for sale I will fly down crate it up and ship it.

scott many sellers want to know location info because large parts are a PITA to ship properly and if a buyer is in CA it's much easier to buy from a seller in CA than it is to buy the same item from a seller in MA.<br />..

1969 hood
I have a brand new US Body Source FIBERGLASS, BOLT-ON hood. It is a flat hood, with NO "humps"; however, it will never rust. I can ship it anywhere that you would like. If interested, please email me: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.

Hi arcticman,
I have a '69 hood but it's not the prettiest. It has 4 hood pin holes that were welded in and rust along the right seam. I didn't notice the rust till I got it home. It does have louvers that are in good shape. I can get some pictures if you wish.
