Exhaust

I have a complete used 2" dual exhaust for a 350. Are u willing to pay shipping from PA? I see u need just one pipe, just throwing that out there.

A P exhaust 126508,this pipe isn't bent down before the bumper(more like a 442),comes out straight,2 in.about $20 from summit.i don't know if anyone sells the stock pipe separate of a complete kit.

2" LH tail pipe

Thanks guys. My car is '68 Cutlass convertible with a 250 Chevy L6 from the factory. I think I can keep the engine pipe and the muffler is new.

Beamer442, thanks for the offer, but the whole 350 dual exhaust is really too much to ship, and then use only one tail pipe.

JCDynamic88, thanks for the lead on the AP tail pipe, I'll check it out.

I really thought it would be easier to find pipes for this car.

Call the guys like http://classicexhaustinc.com/. I'm told they are still bending systems up off the old cards. If that's the case they'd probably sell you just the tail pipe

i do custom exhaust and use these frequently by just finishing the bends at the end to suit the model.they are about the price of a stick of pipe and they fit perfectly

Oddball for sure with the L6. Post some pictures of that including the engine bay. Is it 3 on the tree or a glide?
Custom mandrel bent pipe is an easy solution. Did you check Rock Auto??

Waldron Exhaust could be another source for you. Good folks. I bought a dual kit for my 54 and it fit perfectly.

I notice you are in SI. If you google it I know there are still exhaust shops in Krooklyn that will bend pipes. I know of a few on LI as well

tailpipe

I bought the AP tailpipe on ebay for $34 shipped to me. Summit was $19.99 plus $20 for oversize shipping. It looks like a 442 tailpipe. I'll post a pic when I install it. FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, IS THERE A RIGHT SIDE PART NUMBER? Below is a pic of the six. It has the 2 speed ST300 trans which shares many seals with a TH350. It appears the motor was originally gold color.

68 tail pipe

AP126508 pipe installed on single exhaust. I cut about 6" off, may install a chrome tip. Cheap alternative to a custom bent pipe.

I like the factory style downturn look just shy of the bumper on a non-cut-out bumper on any car. Not exactly the image I was looking for as they are a bit proud of the bumper... but you get the idea...Sans the stupid wheels Yikes!

68 tailpipe SS tip

I found a nice SS tip at Auto Zone. Not stock, but it looks like it belongs there.

Nice Auto Zone tip.
