I do not have one. That said, if it were my ride, there is no way I would be drilling holes in the bumper. I would try and find another way to hang a front plate.
Well I have thought about a plastic one and kind of tie it to the bumper somehow.
Anyone know of a modern holder that may work.
I just polished the bumpers and they are almost show quality on the front and the rear is on the top the same and slightly starting to pit on the lower part of the rear but still shiny and very good.
I would worry that a magnetic holder like that one would scratch whatever it's stuck to, like the front bumper, and it might fall off if you go over a serious enough bump or pothole.
I needed a front license plate bracket for my '73 Custom Cruiser as it was sold originally in a state that did not require a front license plate but the state I lived in did. I just went to Autzone and bought a universal bracket off the shelf.
Here's a photo of the bracket with a plate attached. Of course, you can't see the bracket. That's how unobtrusive it is. I later found out that my state at the time (Ohio) would allow a single license plate on a car that was registered as an antique and had a year-of-manufacture license plate on the back. So I no longer needed the front license plate or bracket, but I decided to leave it on the car and attach a vanity plate, in this case the 1973 plate.

This would not work well on a 1959. I do not have the grill openings you have on your car.
