Good Day, My Fellow Olds Enthusiasts/ 71 Delta

Good Day To All Of My Fellow Oldsmobile Enthusiast's:
I was fortunate enough to recently purchase a 1971 Olds Delta 88 Convertible. Nice Car in need of some parts, Such as, (& not limited to),
the rear armrests that have the courtesy lights in them. Would prefer black. Any thoughts, Please let Me know. Thank You for the pleasure & privilege to be on the web-site again ! Godspeed. Cheers ! Thomas George (MyOldsMan)

71 Olds Delta 88 Convertible

Hi KennyBill: Thanks for the response. I am located in Cheektowaga, New York,
However, I purchased My Olds from a Gent in Delaware. Mine is a work in progress, However, I am thrilled to have it ! Like Lay's Potato Chips, You just cannot have one ! That applies to Oldsmobile's too !
I also have (2) 1984 Olds Delta 88's, (2-doors) a 1985 Custom Cruiser Wagon, & A 1984 Olds Cutlass. Thanks Much. Will try to post pixs

Welcome back... You seem to have some of the same taste in vehicles I have (and had)... I have had several 88's & Custom Cruisers in the past and several (actually many) of the Cutlass variety in the past and present...... Hope this site can help you with your new project, actually I know it can...

I might have the rear side panels with the light but they are from a '74 Delta. Not sure if they are the same? Also they are white.

I believe that the lower plastic panels are the same, but the upper, usually upholstered, panels have pattern changes through the years.

You can definitely paint the lower panels any color you'd like, with the proper prep and paint.

Hello I'm new to the forum but I'm also trying to find a few parts for my 73 olds convertible. Does anyone have a rear driver side quarter panel. Or can steer me in the right way to look it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi 73vert88: There is a web-site of a Company, Good Mark Industries, that specializes in Quarter panels...Not sure if they would have anything for a Delta 88. Google it, & See what comes up...(Hoping this helps). Your only other alternative, That I can think of, Is trying to contact Desert Valley Auto Parts, In Arizona, for a used one. Google that one too.

I have two or three of them. None are show-quality condition by any means but better than nothing. I'm out of town until Sunday but I can get pictures shortly after that. Feel free to call or text me? 317-727-7041.

Hello, FYI, if courtesy lenses are the same as 74-75, which I believe they are, I bought new ones on ebay recently, $10, if memory is correct.
good luck with your olds, Jim
