WTB: 1972 Cutlass 442 Dark Blue drivers side OEM factory seat covers

Wanted to Buy!

I'm looking for a drivers side OEM factory bucket seat covers for my 1972 Cutlass 442 Dark Blue. Must be in excellent condition with no tears, holes, stains or repairs. I believe there are 6 buttons on the seat and 8 buttons on the seat back. Please have photos available for me! I know it's a long shot but just maybe there is a set out there.
UPDATE: Actually, I might be able to do this with a passenger side back and bottom seat cover....if that's available.
Thankyou,
OLE442

You're likely going to have to go the reproduction route. Lengendary is rated top notch among the seat cover and door panel specialists.

For your consideration: This is from their Oldsmobile on line catalog. Notes: They use the correct grain on the seat cover and have the deep pleats just like OEM. I'd keep the OEM buttons from the seats and use them unless they don't color match the seat covers. There's a chance of that even if you did find some NOS OEM covers IMO.If you're not sure, give them a call and ask them to send you a color swatch so you can match it up. They do that kind of service.

Actually, I might even be open to a decent seat that is torn where large parts are still useable. If I can find one that I can have my upholstery guy repair mine I'd be happy. My car only has 47,700 actual miles so I'm trying to save the original seats. The passenger bucket and the rear seat are all real nice but the drivers seat has a tear. My brother (the second owner) used on of those plastic meshed seat pads that let air circulate around your backside and I believe that is what started the issue with the driver's seat …..This was when he owned it in Houston, Texas back in the mid 80's. I just hate to recover all the seats for this issue since they're so nice. AND, if I replaced just the bucket seat cover, it surely wouldn't match the rest.

Still looking,

My car has a very nice rear seat and very nice passenger bucket seat! The driver’s side bucket has splits/tears in the upper and lower cushions. A previous owner used one of those waffled plastic seat additions that allows air to circulate behind you (even though the car has AC)! That is the only reason I can think of the drivers seat to be so bad! when the rest is so nice!! I’ll probably end up buying new covers for the front but it ticks me off to have to do that on a low mileage car! Not sure how close dimensions the driver’s cover is to the passenger cover? Probably a real long shot but it doesn’t hurt to check around!

Still would like to find a seat cover for 1972 Cutlass either drivers side(preferred) or passenger side bucket seat in dark blue (in clean nice shape with no damage).....just like in the photo below. As you can see in the photo, my drivers side needs repaired. The rear seat and passenger buckets are great and I really would like to repair the drivers seat.

Legendary sells material by the yard and you can get a sample from them to match the color. If you have access to an upholstery shop, they should be able to repair your driver side cover if you can get the right material to match the grain and color. If Legendary does not have it, SMS will. SMS is expensive though. I had covers made for my toronado by a upholstery guy near me that I have used for years. The correct cloth material from SMS was $250.00 per yard back in 2019.
