TH 400 Trans

Looking for a TH 400 for a 74 Hurst Olds. Would like a trans with the olds ID OX. That may be hard to come by. Am open to other TH 400's possibly. I am restoring the car back to original.

Located in Louisville, KY

Let me know and thanks.

If you get desperate, I have a fresh one here from a 76 about 350 miles north of you. I doubt it's an ox code though.

Good luck with the search.

Just to let you know, a Delta would use a long output shaft and extension housing; an A-body would be a short one.

I'm in Indy & have a medium length tail shaft th400. I have the correct parts to make it a short shaft version too. I think it's out of a '71 Vista Cruiser so I know the code is not right.

Thanks everybody. I'll keep those options in mind. I have some feelers out on a few other sites and folks looking for me.

Appreciate all your help,
Ben
