1955 olds 88 - does anyone know where I can get a new heater control valve and still havnt been able to find the chrome trim around the fuel lid

The heater control valves show up on ebay from time to time. I just missed one last week. They usually go for somewhere around $100. Fusick will rebuilt yours for something like $100. The chrome gas door guards also show up on ebay. Ebay becomes your evil friend for parts for an old car.

I have 2 of the stainless gas door guards for a '55. One looks like it has never been installed. Let me know if you are still looking for one.
