Thornton's makes repros of the manifolds. They are pretty good, but the one's I bought needed some cleaning up on the outlets. They fit and functioned just fine.

You didn't say what you are putting it in. Application makes a difference on the manifolds

The 455, 400 & 350 OEM exhaust manifolds are being reproduced Fusick, OPG, Year One, etc...The WZs are the ones you want.

Fusick pn EM692WZ pg 63 in the Fusick catalog

Here is a pump & brackets complete with good hoses. Condition unknown but assumed to be working. I'd like to get $60.00 plus shipping.

The whole thing is a bit heavy & shipping costs are crazy, just like everything else, I'd guess shipping would be $20.00-$30.00?? If you want I can ship & get a total & let you know?
Thanks,
Scott

Cobalt I'm unaware of the frame setup in that car. You should probably get some pictures of the engine sitting on the mounts so we can see what you are up against. The standard car manifolds may not work depending on where the outlets are in relation the the frame.

With the 56 steering being behind the crossmember, you will probably have wo use W and Z manifolds. Even with those exiting in the extreme rear, you will probably have to offset the motor somewhat to the passenger side in order to clear the steering gearbox. You will also have to fab hydraulic lines for the setup. I'm assuming you have a factory power steering column and gearbox? Good Luck.

where the engine will sit

here is what a guy has done to his and i inclueded a pic of what my frame looks like...it will be minus the cross bar in the back...i think the manifold that go straight back and i can run a exhaust pipe to it.. and your right the engine has to be off set to the passengers side by 3mm to clear the steering box what ive been told

Keep in mind that used ones are going to be around 45 years old at this point and might not be any good. I have seen a couple sets where the divider between the center ports was rotten and they were basically junk.
I'm not saying you can't find them, just be aware that if you do you may not save any money on a good used set as these are central to a matching restoration.

I have a set of stock manifolds in great shape from a 69 Olds 98. The car had dual exhaust but used a crossover pipe.

The manifolds you need depend on the chassis that this is installed in. What car is the 455 in?

So, depending on how you mounted the engine, you probably will NOT be able to use the W/Z manifolds from a 442. I'm guessing you may want a pair of the center dump "A" casting manifolds. These were originally used on the driver's side of 1965-67 full size cars but can be bolted to the passenger side as well. If your crossmember is forward and you have a steering box interference problem, this may be your only option. I'd suggest you think this out and look at photos of the various Olds manifolds before buying anything.

If you decide that you need a pair of these, I have at least three. I can blast and paint them with "cast blast" paint if you would like. Email me to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.
