looking for Parking brake wire for my 53 Olds 98

Hi,

actually I am restoring my 1953 Olds 98 Sedan.

Parking brake left side didnt work, rear wheel cylinder was wet.

Wheel cylinder repair kit I will order at Fusick, no problem, but ....where can I find a left side parking brake wire ?

If available I would also buy both sides, right side is ok but also has rust, left side is very bad and it would be last thing I want to do not to change that part.
After very much time of trying to repair it the wire can be moved in the tube, but is very much full of rust and will not work for long

If the internal cable is not frayed with broken strands, you may try warming it with a heat gun and soaking it for a few days in the bottom of a bucket covered in ATF.
Unless a replacement is easy and cheap to find.

Rear Brake Wheel Cylinder & Brake Cables

If you haven't ordered them already -- I have the rear wheel cylinders in stock @ $ 15.00 each (USA dollars) and the rear brake cables in stock (left & right rear) @ $ 55.00 each (USA dollars) plus USPS actual shipping.

Just read your request -- don't know if you've already ordered.....

Responding to your response!!

If you get problems from them, or can go ahead and cancel, because their prices are too high (which is a certainty, I'm sure.),
Let me know, indeed....
I don't have my own computer, have to go to the library to use it, and am not here every day. Today is Weds., Feb. 5th. I will definitely not be able to get here tomorrow (Thursday)....
I will come here on Friday -- specifically to check to see if you need me...
Thank you, Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935... New York....
