Chrome Shop Lost My Parts!!!

I am not going to post the name of the shop, but will answer under PM only. So far the quality of work has been great, but they lost 4 parts..

1 - side mirror adjusting ****. This is the chrome stem that sticks out of the LS door panel that you use to manually adjust the side mirror.

1 - A/C Fan speed selector ****.

2 - Vent window handles. I think I can get these from Fusick or Legendary.

If anyone out there has a side mirro **** or fan control **** for sale, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm very surprised that the chrome shop would even chrome such small parts.

They did 100% of the chrome on my car. I hand delivered everything and they only wanted $10 for the ***** and $20 for the vent handles. Never hesitated when I showed them the small stuff.

Are they going to cover the replacements? Just curious.

They said that they would. They are finishing up a few more parts. I imagine that I can show them cost of the replacements, then they will just reduce the cost of my order. The discussion has not made it that far yet.

I'd post the name of the shop, because it sounds like they are standing up, admitting what happened before they hand you your other parts, and are willing to fix the problem.

Those are some mighty small parts, and it's easy to see how they might go missing - could happen to anyone.

I think others might want to do business with a shop that makes things right when it goofs.

You have a good point there Eric. The shop is Dan's Polishing and Chrome in Tennessee. Everything they have done for me has been top notch. He is not scared to hold the part back either if the finish is not the way he likes it.
