That feller in the UK who "has my parts, for sure" has not come thru yet

I sold off all the slightly cracked "J" intakes for barely more than the cost of the cleaning and crack check, just to get rid of them. So, in order to have one to convert, I would like to buy another. It has to be either dirt cheap or blasted clean and verified crack-free. Prefer the latter. Must be well boxed- I can offer tips on this process. Some 1x4 lumber makes a good start. I can even send you an empty crate if need be.

The "J" is in the depression behind the water crossover. The casting number is on top, just behind the carb.

I checked mine, but it was letter R. Sorry, A for effort hopefully.

No, the "A" intake is 1965 2-bbl, see it in the CSM.

Just being nosy, but anybody know why these manifolds crack between the bores? I have one that is cracked between the secondary bores. I don't think it hurts the performance.

That crack is generally inconsequential but for some reason folks spending a lot of money prefer uncracked manifolds.

Why? Thermal stresses, I imagine.
