2 Connecting Rods for 394 engine ('62 Olds Dynamic)

About to start a complete rebuild on my 1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88's 394 engine, and I have every part except for 2 connecting rods! If anyone is selling them, or knows where to get them, please help me out!! Thank you!

I can also be reached via TEXT at 915-269-7023.
If I can't find these two rods soon, I'll be selling the car and engine together, (in case anyone out there is interested!).

I have some rod/piston assemblies from a 64 394 engine if they are the same. Also have a nearly complete 62 super 88 Olds with complete engine still in it.Henry

$20 for a pair if you pick them up here in Austin or $50 packaged and shipped to you.

Thanks!!!

Henry, you are a life saver!! Could you send me a photo of them? Aholde@musician.org.
I'm assuming they are in usable condition, yes? And I'll let you know this evening if I'll be able to pick them up in Austin! If funding permits, I could probably get up to Austin by Saturday or Sunday, if of course, either of those days is good for you?
If I can't, however, how would payment work to have them shipped? I've honestly never bought anything from someone over the Internet. (Sorry for my ignorance!)
Thank you!!

Henry
I won't be able to drive up to Austin, but I'd very much like to purchase them and have them shipped! Would we make the financial transaction over PayPal?

Please, let me know as soon as possible! I'm totally desperate to get those two parts.
I need to let my mechanic know right away whether this rebuild will be able to happen, (it solely depends on whether or not I can get those two connecting rods!)
Thank you!!!

Don't worry, you'll get them.
I'm sure Henry will take care of you, but if for some reason it doesn't work out, let me know and I'll get them to you.

Henry hasn't gotten back to me yet, so would you let me know how much you'd charge for the rods + shipping?
Thank you!!

Urgent.

Please, please, let me know you guys!
I really need to know if I can get those parts, because I need to let my machinist know if he'll be able to start the whole rebuild.
Thank you!

That's the first place I looked. Unfortunately, they don't. Those engine kits never include the connecting rods. :/
The few sites I have found that sell them have them for "exchange only." And mine are damaged beyond repair, so they can't be exchanged.

Have you heard back from Henry yet?
I'm not looking to step on his toes, since he offered first (and he's much closer to you than I am).
If you want, I'll dig a pair out of my storage garage. I'll remove the old pistons to save on shipping.

No, I haven't yet heard back from Henry. How much would you charge for the rods + shipping. I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you!

I have them ready to go. I need your zip code to figure shipping cost.
Glenn

edit: all packaged up. $40 plus the shipping (should be ~$12-$15 to ElPaso TX area)

Oh my, I'm sorry for not getting back to you! My email didn't alert me of any new thread activity!
I had two connecting rods mailed to me already, but I'm not sure if they'll fit. I'll probably know in about a week or so.
If they don't fit, you'll be my only hope! Haha
My zip is 79927.

In case the two I already purchased don't fit, (and with my usual luck, chances are they won't!) how would you like to go about the financial transaction?

If/when you're ready, I can e-mail you a PayPal invoice. You don't need a PP account to pay, just a credit card or checking account.
