1966 Cutlass Fender bracket

Looking for 1966 Cutlass front lower fender bracket part #396310 R/H and 396311 L/H. Need excellent condition with nuts still attached and screws would help.
Thanks

I probably have this but know nothing about part numbers. Is it the little bracket about 6-8in long that attaches to the bottom lip of the fender?

Yes, front lip of fenders, two fasteners on the wide part that goes to the fender and one fastener on the narrow end which goes to the tie bar. If my scanner was working I would send you the page from the 66 Cutlass assembly manual. Sure would like them with the screws. The page in the assembly manual shows the nut as a part of the bracket. Can you send me a picture if you have them.
Thanks
Wayne

BTW, in 66 the brackets were straight and went up to the inner fender. In 67, and maybe late 66, (I suppose because of plastic inner fenders being on some A bodies) they were angled and went to the core support.

The 66 Cutlass assembly page 11-2.13 definately shows a tapered bracket assembly going from the lower front of the fender to what is called the lower tie bar. That is what is on my car. There is nothing wrong with the brackets in my car other than the nut which is fastened to the bracket have come loose and doesn't tighten up causing a loose screw.

The 1966 assembly manual page 11-2.13 footnotes has "2-17-66 F was 391096-7 Brkt Assy" where F is the circled footnote to the left of the bracket part numbers. The March 1967 Parts and Accessories Price Schedule has further clarification:
"391096 repl by 396310 11-1-66" and 391097 repl by 396311 11-1-66". The assy manual page drawing shows the late bracket.

Thanks for your input. I read the revision also. I however, am still looking for the bracket pictured on page 11-2.13 as that is what was used on my car. I have no idea of the true history of this car. Build code is 01A and the vin is 225198 but it may have had fender replacements.
Thanks
Wayne

I'm pretty sure I have a nice pair of the braces. As far as I know 66 and 67 are different. Contact me @ pchopesq@aol.com.

Thanks
