3.23 Posi in Houston, TX
I looked at a rear end about a month ago; it's a 3.23 posi (I spun the axle and counted the pinion turns). The axle tube is stamped LW B309 2, I couldn't find any olds documentation that confirmed the LW stamp. The seller's name is Russell, he lives in Pasadena (a suburb of Houston). I think he wanted $700-800 for it. He took it out of a running '69 Cutlass that he owned (and drove) for about a year. Not sure what happened to the car but he said he pulled the rear and saved it because it was a posi. As far as he knows it's never been opened up or rebuilt. He seems like a decent guy, even helped me deliver the OAI hood I bought from him. He said he's been into oldmobiles for 25 years. Pics are attached below. I can send you a PM with his contact info if you're interested.

PM sent with contact info, and yes it has bolt-in axles. I think this rear is from a Buick and I don't think it's a corporate rear either. You should check with Jim at JD Race (he goes by Monzaz here on CO). He can tell you what it is from the pictures and what parts are available to rebuild it or transfer into your housing. You gotta be careful here, because the rears changed around 71-72 and GM switched from separate rear for each division to a corporate (one-size fits all) rear for the later model cars. There seems to a lack of parts for the "O" type earlier rears.

You should just have your rear end rebuilt with a posi carrier and new 3.42 gears. I just did mine with a Detroit TrueTrak (torsen) carrier and 3.42 gears, all bought from JD Race $750ish with all the bearings and seals. I was planning to do the the set-up myself (for the experience and braggin' rites) but had a local shop do the install instead for $300. Parts and gears are plentiful for your 10-bolt corporate rear. It's the earlier "O" type rears that you can't get parts.
