Pretty nice 1967 442 louvered hood

Just picked this up today & on first quick inspection, it seems to be in pretty nice condition. I did see one small shallow dent near the left front but no major rust anywhere? I'll have to check it out better in the next day or two to be sure. Price will be dependent on the closer inspection. Pick up in Indianapolis is welcome or I can ship.
Scott

Not sure on the holes but my guess is that the regular hoods had a chrome spear down the middle I think? Those holes might be for the studs that the spear would have had?

Thanks

Steve,
I don't know enough about the '67 hoods to tell you, sorry. Hopefully someone will chime in soon though.

67 442 hood

Yes they are the same. Holes for mounting hood spear on Cutlass. On 442 they have 7/8" plastic plugs in holes to keep water from louvers getting on engine. Scott sent you an email about hood.

Did you guys sell this hood already? I saw a guy on facebook was thinking about buying it today. If not I'm interested. PM me I live in California. And would be interested if the shipping and price is reasonable.

Here are more pix. It looks like there are some piercings on the edges of the frame. I'm pretty sure they were there from the factory as there is no rust around the holes & the area just around the holes is slightly pushed in. Whatever pierced the frame has protruded through the right front in one spot. Neither hole has any rust around it & in fact the top has some lead in that area that I'd bet is from the factory also??
Someone has put tar around the edges of the frame to prevent water from getting on the engine I'd guess?? The plugs that were in the frame holes are gone.
I have another local guy interested in the hood at $550.00. If I don't hear back real soon it will go to the next interested party.
