69 large snorkel breather.
Posted this for a member, but no response.
It is a very nice unit, no dents. Was once
the original red, then painted gold, then red again.
$115 plus the ride. It will come with the very nice
Wix nos air filter. PM if interested.

To clarify, the 350 engines used the SMALLER snout with the flare at the end being an extra add-on piece... as shown here. The 442 type larger snout air cleaner has the flare part of the same metal the snout is comprised of. Or, maybe I am recalling that from 1968-only air cleaners.
That might be the

Unit... which evidently was used on BB's originally as well as the 350's. But, several different PN's are listed as applicable to '69 engines.

The "large snout" part is still questionable. My photos show a 69 98 air cleaner snout 4.6" wide at the base, 9.1" long, with a snout 3.3 x 1.6". Separate flare piece.
Compare to '69 442 snout w/o flare add-on, at 9" long, 3.6x1.8" at the opening, and 5.7" wide at the base- much wider.
It's a fine looking 350 part, suitable for all but the most picky of BB owners as well. I take it none of the original inked PN information is still readable? Red initially indicates 1969 year of issue I believe, as the "NG" one I have photos of was originally black.

Thanks for the check Chris.
You are correct, I had a look
at my 69 442 breather, the end
of the snout (flare) is the same, but the b/b air chamber
was a lot fatter on it. Breath baby, breath.
