I think someone installed a 6 blade which would have taken a clutch, on to a 4 blade spacer. I have several 6 blade fans & none of them look like that. They don't have the hooks on the ends of the blades. Not 100% sure...

Not saying it isnt aftermarket of some sort? But the rest of the entire car was 100% original and it was parked in 86 and never touched. Who knows what may have been changed during its first 16 years of life though?
