I got this switch pitch trans with the motor I got from a Starfire. It has no where to install speedo cable so I don't want to use it in my Hurst. I would like to sell it or trade it for a regular th400. It does come with the converter. The car had 62000 on it before being pulled. I live in South Suburbs of Chicago.

sounds like you have a tranny from a big car, with the speedo driven by the front wheel. it may have a plug where the speedo driven gear assembly could be mounted. that's what i did, i had it converted.

What did it cost to have retro fitted? I was going to have it rebuilt anyway if I use it

i paid 100 bucks for that, and a complete reseal of the tranny. i specified the drive and driven gears for the tire size and rear end i'm running, he threw the gears in for free.
