NOS 1970 Cutlass/442 Front Hood Moldings for Sale

SOLD!!

I have a set of NOS front hood moldings for a 1970 Cutlass/442. They also include the factory screws. The molding for RH side was stored in a box that had gotten wet at one point and there is a flaw at the curve of the molding. The flaw is a small blister that is sticking up. I tried to get a picture of it but my camera wouldn't focus in on it. The other molding is as it left GM but it is also not perfect. There are a few small marks under the chrome and it appears the part did not have the little tiny depressions buffed out before it was plated. These would look fine on a nice driver or they would be ideal to replate as they would require very little prep work before new chrome was applied. Asking $140 plus shipping OBO which is less than new repops.

just a note... almost all lefts i have seen are as you describe. another note is, anyone that mounts them to a hood need to be aware that 90% of all these came with screws that were to long. i learned the hard way and ruined a set of moldings years ago.

that is a GREAT price for these moldings!

The chrome on those were never perfect,as they were not building show cars back then. They are still worth it though because they fit the best, and they will make an excellent core, should anyone decide to have them replated for show.
