1959 Olds 98 Parts and 455 engine/trans for sale

Ok... I ended up buying another car that is closer to being in running condition, and I still can't find a roof for this olds.

So, I have decided to part this one out. It is a 4 door hard top car. It is a 98, so roofs are not easy to come by. There is alot of HEAVY surface rust on the body, but there is very very limited rust through. Very small amount under the rear seat and maybe a 4 inch circle in the trunk.

I have all the body parts available, the power brake setup, the power steering setup, all trim, non-cracked dash pad, all dash parts, all 4 doors, just some surface rust. Good trunk lid. I have a nice rust free hood, some very good fenders with just a couple pin holes, lots of power options. Let me know what you need, and I may just have it. I DO have a title for this car, and I will consider offers on the car whole. I do not have the 394 and trans. Call me on parts, and we can talk about what you need and how much.

I also have a 455 from a 70's olds wagon. It was running and driving good when removed, and has about 5K on it since a Jasper rebuild. Complete carb to pan and includes the trans. Will get pics today of parts. Wanting 1250 for the engine and trans.

call me... 217 six53 0624

1250, OBO for the complete engine/trans setup...

Make me an offer if you are interested. Seems you are close enough you could pick it up. That would make me quite happy. Call me if you are serious.

I have to admit I found me a 4 door mopar of near the same vintage... a 60 dodge. The whole roof thing with this one really put me off, and then the design of the car made for a very uncomfortable fit for me, being such a big man. I have never struggled so much to get into a car than I did with this one. Which moldings you wanting? This car was 100% complete when I started. Remember though... it is a 4 door hard top.

Ya Mike, it's me. I'm thinking on the 455, but am leaving for 3 weeks vacation tomorrow.
If you get someone interested in the motor, send it on it's way. I'll give you a call when I get back about it.

Let me know. The car was a really good runner. Supposedly the guy bought it from the original owner. His buddy worked at the garage where the engine was installed. I got to drive the car. It drove and ran out really well.

Would love to commit to it now, but will call when I get back.
Several years back, I toured the Jasper rebuild plant and was impressed with all they do to a engine. They bring them all back to original specs as I remember.
We'll talk on this.

Did you get rid of the 59 Olds motor? I remember talking to you about it.

Yeah... I traded that for a REALLY REALLY nice set of fenders and inners. Some pin holes in a couple spots on the fenders, but at least the bottom 3 inches weren't missing like my originals.

Only thing I have left from this are some 65 Olds hubcaps, and I found the horns.

I'm looking for a nice brake pedal pad. Mine is worn badly on the right side. How's yours?
