It's interesting to see that the lock actuator has a bend in it. The NOS one I bought is bent but was also broken:

I thought the bend was what caused it. I swear I've seen them without the bend as well. Maybe for earlier years.

I have a complete set up I pulled from my 8 vert before it went to the crusher. Dont gasp it was so rusty it split in half dragging it up onto the wrecker bed. Even the dash was falling out of it. All good parts are stashed! Ill snap you a pic of it. Remind me.
