'68 - 72 Abody Convertible A-Pillar Pads/moldings

1 pair of what I'd call driver quality '68-72 Abody convertible A-pillar pads/moldings......

>Overall nice condition - ie - not all cracked up, inner metal structure isn't rusted away, etc (NOTE: I don't think repro pads have the metal inner structure).

>Does have a couple areas where the vinyl covering has "bubbled up" on the D side pad. P side doesn't have any of this.

>There's a wrinkle in the vinyl at the top of the P side pad up near the upper screw hole

>Bottom triangular "flat" areas aren't cracked like many of these used pieces have

>Also - at the top of the P side pad there is a small crack in the vinyl in the wrinkled area. Easy enough to fill in with some epoxy...crack probably resulted from the wrinkle.

>A few small pieces of vinyl missing along the top end/edge of the P side pad....again - some patient epoxy filling and then paint/dye these and those areas would be dealt with.

These came off of a '71 Cutlass convert with a green interior. Do some light cleaning (I scrubbed them once) and filler work and paint/dye with whatever color you need and they'll look pretty good on a driver.

$60 shipped in the lower 48.....that's to start.....I'd rather sell these than stare at them and I have no need for them right now.

Payment by check or MO - no paypal.

Pic showing upper part of P side pad/molding - the wrinkled area, some slight cracks (crack on the wrinkle not really visible in pic) and the small spots of missing vinyl covering....

NOTE: I also have a pair of orginal green convertible sunvisors from the same car....pretty nice condition (not warped, inner board not deteriorated, no tears) and could also be painted/dyed including the original visor vanity mirror and attaching hardware (backing plate and inserts for attachment). The mirror itself should probably be replaced as the silvering is deteriorated.

Can provide pics, etc

Had the visors listed along time back on here for $100...no takers.

Will discount that price heavily if a "package deal" is made. Link to visor ad:

Code26 appears to be another phantom "buyer" that has disappeared into cyberspace.....I'll move down the list of others (in my PM box) now.

SUNVISORS ARE SOLD.
