66/67 Cutlass 442 front coil springs
#3
All I know is they were purchased for a 66 Cutlass. Helping a friend clean out his garage he doesn't have the box or remember the manufacturer. He thinks they are from moog but I have no way to confirm that. He restored a 66 Cutlass and a 66 442 years ago and these were left over from one of those cars. Sorry that's all the info I have. Joe

From your picture, the free length is 17" or so. Moog and similar brand springs with that free length have 260-300 lb/inch. The original 4-4-2 coils were not offered aftermarket by these companies (although some specialty restoration companies claim to make them now), and were 425 lb/inch. Your springs were probably for a Cutlass as you indicate, not a 4-4-2 as in the title. The 4-4-2 coils were about 15" to 15.5" free length iirc.
