Removed in January of this year from my car. Carb is a good, threads are really nice, i did not have any issues with leaking fuel, it was replaced by the correct carb for my 69. I believe you can install it and tune it to your specific application, and should be trouble free. Of course, you can also rebuild it if you chose, but it is a good carb and operated fine. Can this 7028251 carb be found on some Chevrolet models ? and where do we chase these numbers ?
Is there a good Sticky for the Quadrajets interchange ?

Chevy carbs have the inlet on the side.
The 5 in the 6th position makes it an Olds carb. This particular carb is correct for all 400’s & 455’s with auto or standard trans through May or June of 68 when it’s rumored that the 7028253 was released for MT applications.
