52? Engine and Trans
Dunno anything about it. Found it this morning on CL and thought someone might want it. Listed as "maybe" a 52 engine and trans, $100.

This is a 1951 example, transmission tag seems to have a orange hue, so 98 if so. Too bad the seller didn't show the trans tail shaft to easily establish model from which removed.
If I could get $100 scrap each that alone might tempt me to scrap a few which are long siezed having been saved from scrap over the years. $30-$40 is more like it here for 900# shredder. 1951 303's are far and away the most common 303 today in my experience, followed by 1953.

I would bet a dollars to a donuts that it is seized with the oil cap missing and the carb exposed to the weather, but I would still buy it if close to me.
PS. it's a real bitc! to separate a transmission from a seized first generation Old's engine... Tedd
