62 and 63 Jetfire engines

I have two Jetfire engines I am selling. These engines were converted to normal carburetor engines. Both engines have the Turbo heads and block and I will include a turbo intake manifold. I have not fired them up yet but I believe both of them will run. I will attempt to fire them up before I sell them but both will be sold as a core needing rebuilt. I also have parts available to convert them to turbo. $1500 each engine

Here is the 63 Jetfire engine. It is running now so I am selling this one as a running core. Has the turbo heads and block.

After a rebuild, nothing other than the stamping that says it was a Turbo head. When they were new, the Jetfire had special coated and better quality valves than the standard 215 had. Now when you rebuild one, All replacement valves are the better quality valves.

The blocks had a little longer main bolts and the rods had better bolts. The Jetfire also have better bearings than the standard engine but like the valves, all the replacement bearings are upgraded to as good or better than the original Jetfire bearings. Also had stronger pistons in the Jetfire and EGGE has the Jetfire pistons available. Not sure but you may have to buy the Jetfire pistons through D&D aluminum V8?

For the most part, When people are buying a Jetfire engine, they are buying the numbers that say they came from a Jetfire.
