Warren Johnson 1984 Hurst Olds DRCE Magnesium Rocker Covers

Very rare Hurst Olds 8.2 Liter 500 C.I. DRCE magnesium two fin rocker covers, same style found on Warren Johnon's Hurst Olds I believe.
I was holding onto these for my '83 Hurst body but I don't see using them.
They look exacly like the two fin magnesium ones on his 1983 Hurst Olds but his were embossed Oldsmobile in script.
I was told these were off Warren Johnson's '84 car when I purchased them some time ago, paid a heafty price for them too... not gonna advertise them as such since I have yet to find a photo of his '84 to confirm... could be holding onto a pair of racing history, not sure, still very cool looking and very hard to find.
$400
Can get more photos if interested.

UPDATE:
A member has contacted WJ on these covers and has confirmed that these are covers that were on the display cars for Cars & Concepts.

Here's a picture of the covers from Warren Johnson's 83 HO. The design is the same with the exception being the Oldsmobile script that you mentioned. Sorry about the pictures but I can't get them oriented correctly.

They are close but the bolt patterns and dimensions are slightly different

Those are way cool but IMO will have a slightly limited market as opposed to them being from the '64 - '72 era. You shouldn't have a problem selling those at that bargain price though Just being magnesium is bad @r$e let alone being Warren Johnson's Too bad they aren't signed (yet?)

And 'pushing 70' is a bad thing?
How old is Garlits now?
Where would Drag Racing be, without these two?

Garlits is about 80 right now and is working on an electric dragster that he predicts will run over 200mph........his wife is pretty sick though.

I am open to trades and offers (NOS G Body items and 455 stuff) however my reason for selling is to buy real-estate and thus sell off luxury items that cannot be bolted to a car which I've been slowly trying to do... although I do not have a problem keeping these given their provenance and they just look cool. My initial intention with these was to use the '83 H/O shell I have and someday do a DRCE Warren Johnson tribute for my 80's Cutlass collection, I've also thought about making aluminum adapter plates to fit on a stock Olds head (as stupid as it may look).

No they will not bolt on a BBC. I have a pair of them and they do not line up. I bought the last 3 pairs WJ had a couple of months ago. I sold a pair to a buddy who is putting them on a BBC going into a 65 442 and he's having adapter plates made so he can use them.

Sorry,I didn't see 66trakpac's post above. He's the whack job putting a BBC in a 65 442 Club Coupe with the WJ DRCE 1 covers. He knows who killed JFK too, don't believe me,just ask him.
