Price reduced on posi unit[/QUOTE I deleted the post I did last nite because I was drinking and upon waking this AM,I felt I had been unfair to this person. These Dana posi units are a good unit, only problem being there are no parts available to service them if need be.I'm sure there are people across the country like myself that have some used parts. These units were used 64'/early 65' in 8.2 BP 10 bolt / 8.2 Chev 10 bolt / 63'-65' truck 12 bolt / and now it appears 65' 12 bolt car as well I have never seen this Dana unit in the 12 bolt car application in 43 years of doing rears until now.You can see in the pics that the posi unit is dated 12/64'.Also the nomenclature on the ring gear is typical Dana. The rear end housing pictured is 67-72,as it looks like the spring pads have the raised cone on them, which means that posi and gears did not originate in that housing. Most of the broken units I have is because someone tried to take it apart with out proper tools.I had to fabricate tools for my own use.All that said where are you at on the price as of now.I have some interest.
