Parting 72 Cutlass 'S'

I am parting a running/driving 72 Cutlass 'S'

350 with Edelbrock 600 carb, and TH350 trans.Engine runs great & the trans shifts fine.I did drive the car around town, and took it out on the highway with no issues. The engine is all original, with the exception of the carb.

The frame on the car has some scale here & there, but is nice & solid.

The doors are very usable, but not perfect. One has some pin holes just below the lower hinge, and the other one has some pitting alone the inside bottom, and a pinhole in the skin.

The dash is dark saddle, and has a small poke hole in it along the top, otherwise it would have been perfect. The plastic section around the guages & radio is perfect, and it still has the factory AM radio.

Both front & rear bumpers are good solid cores.

This car came with a set of repop floor pans, and floor braces, which are not installed.

Complete 75 455 4bbl with another TH350 trans.

71 Supreme die-cast grilles.

Headlight plastic housings & bezels.

The upper cowl section & windshield frame has some light pitting, but is solid, not weak or any holes.

There's a bunch of other misc parts on this.Inquire, and it might be here.

There wasn't any wheel well trim with this, but I do have a stack of nice driver-quality pieces.Nothing for a concours show car,but maybe a small dink or extra holes drilled for mudflaps. If they were dented or damaged,& pitched them.

Trunk lid is junk.

Do you have the middle parking brake cable hooks that is located under the floor pan brace? Also, the rear brake cable hooks that hooks onto the rear control arm? There should be 2 of each.

I have stuff like that from othe cars that I parted.I have those brake cable hooks in a box,and I should have some washer fluid bottles in with my washer motors.I know I have a black one, which I think is correct for 69.The 70-72 are clear/white.

Ok let me know when you get to it. They should be 2 long ones for the middle cable and 2 short ones for the rear cables. Thanks again.

ELY442,
There is one large hook, that connects to the trans crossmember and the intermediate cable. There are 2 smaller "S" hooks that attach to the floor brace & each end of the intermediate cable(one on each side). Then you have the "C" shaped hooks that attach the intermediate cable ends to each rear cable(one on each side).
Do you need all of this? What transmission do you have? The TH400 uses a different hook, compared to the TH350 & 4-spd.

As I get more of this sorted through,I'll let you know what else I have.
I do have some upper rear tail light lenses.I'll see if this has any lowers.

Yes, i need those 2.

Then you have the "C" shaped hooks that attach the intermediate cable ends to each rear cable(one on each side).
If you want to called it a "C" shaped. I thought it looks like a letter "U" that hooks to the rear lower control arm to the rear brake cable.

What transmission do you have?
I have a TH400 but i can use that hook since my hook came from a TH350.

Please let me know the price and shipping to 11219. Thanks.

The hook that connects the transmission crossmember to the intermediate cable,is longer for the TH400 applications. The intermediate cable itself is also different length, for the TH400.They did this because the crossmember was in a different location for the TH400. The TH350 & 4-spd shared the same crossmember location.

72 F.E. parts?

Hi, We just bought a 72 Cutlass S that's missing the grilles, and headlight boxes and bezels. Do you still have them?

Does this car have grilles in it? Are they 72 "S" grilles? What about the plastic sover between the engine and transmission? The chrome strip on the backseat roll down window on the driver side, is it in good shape?

This particular car has been cut-up & scrapped.I still have the whole roof with rear package tray. The only grilles that I still have, are 71-72 442 grilles.
Are you looking for the outer chrome bead that holds the window wipe material?I have one that is real nice, but I need to see what side it is.The thin rubber strip on these is usually cracked or ripped, but this one is mint.I just need to see what side it is.

Brian,

Do you have any of the interior lights such as floor courtesy, glove box, and the dash lights over the heater control?

A rear cutout bumper core is $250.00.It is a core, and will need rechromed, but there are no rust holes.
If I sell a pair of 71-72 442 grilles, they will be about $300.00.I will see what I have & take pictures, but they are very nice,or I wouldn't have kept them.
Darrell,
I have an assortment of those lighting packages,if that is what you are looking for.
