Carb 7028251 like '68 H/O pretty rebuilt $400
Curses it needs a helicoil on the inlet.
I can have that done or if you can do it yourself that'll be just fine too. Either way it'll take some time.
OTHERWISE looks new and pretty. Fresh replate on the steel parts. Correct divorced choke. Correct jetting- 70 jets with 49B rods, AU secondary rods. Number is 7028251 RJ, used on 'most all the 1968 big blocks including early W30's and the Hurst/Olds. DATED 1928 on the left side of the base, aft end, which is about July 1968, or the very end of production for 1968 models. The base is casting #'226, and the body is casting #'221. Air Horn casting # can't be seen w/o removing it.
No pix handy but can get some via email.
Seeking $400 plus oh about $20 proper packaging and insured shipping from 48911 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Canada shipping possible but pricey.
Similar 7028251 but just a plain old rebuild done back in 1975-1980, steel parts are not gold dichromated, and it's probably converted back to divorced choke from Hot Air Choke... $300 delivered. Correct number and jetting but not all the bling... for less money.
Also just found ONE last NOS carb 7029253 - '69 442 Manual Trans, with 1969 date code, not mid-70's service date, PERFECT as NOS tends to be, no smished top, no bad inlet threads, all correct choke pieces... $800 delivered. Photos available... thru the plastic wrap for the most part. It's a gem.
