My thought is unless you have a car to match the block VIN, a block is just a block.

True, the thought was there's a slim chance the cars is still out there. If you go to fb link he describes as red with black stripes back in the 80's..

Owner of the car still has it and has been contacted about the existence of the block.

That's cool. I saw that ad a while back. I think the price was a little high for just a block. Only worth big $$$ to the guy who has the car, otherwise just a block.

Ashley Jones of Potterville Mi has owned the car for 30 years. He has now made contact with the seller to pick up the block.
The car has a Nos replacement block sold to one of the earlier owners by Ed Van Dril.
many of you may know Ashley from being a vendor at HomeComing, OCA nationals and Carlisle.
big thanks to Ed for alerting me about the block and the many people who have contributed to the data base on these cars that has taken 35 years to build and perfect.

Gotta wonder why the original block was separated from the car. That information would make a great story to go along with the car. A 35 year reunion. Wow!
