'70-2 Cutlass/442 4 Row Radiator Top Plate - my "repro"
One nice, made-by-70Post-using-all-factory-components, '70-2 Cutlass/442 4 row radiator top plate.
>I use ALL ORIGINAL FACTORY PIECES so it will look correct and fit like the original....original top plate and original brackets.
>Nice clean parts used - beadblasted to bare clean steel and then sprayed with multiple coats of a good catalyzed black epoxy primer. There are some specks of dust here and there in the top surface paint so you may want to lightly scuff/de-nib and respray with your final paint.
>Underside is clean as well.
>Includes a original closed cell foam strip/seal that was placed along the top rail of the radiator core to seal against the underside of the top plate - in nice clean condition.
>I probably have some new phosphate 5/16" bolts with non-factory head markings and may also have some good used rubber isolators at an extra charge....I'll check.
$160 + shipping to the lower 48. PM your zipcode if you have interest as USPostal seems to have the only decent shipping option on this large piece (shipping may be as low as $20 but I would have to check with a zipcode).

Walter - Thanks for the good review on my top plate. Getting these super clean before paint is time consuming - there is A LOT of surface area to deal with.
Also included is a choice of these two short sleeve T-shirts.....the white shirt is a L size and the black is a XL.
The black "SoCal" shirt has the same artwork on the back....not sure on the white shirt.
You can also save some on shipping if you need a Gas Tank Pad (see link below my sig line). I can wrap it around the top plate and it may not add much shipping cost over the $25 Gas Tank Pad cost....I'll have to check.

Al - I'll check my inventory.....may have another one partially done...need to dig into the top plate box and see. I'll let you know if I have another and the status of it.
Thanks for the props!

Will - No difference in top plates b/n a Cutlass "S" or a Cutlass Supreme, etc.
BUT....I don't have any with the "short" insulator brackets (as shown in the pic posted by "WTHIRTY1" above). My " '69/70 " version WILL work and fit on a '71/2 just fine...no mods, etc required. Olds just changed the style of bracket slightly sometime after the '70 model year for some reason. If anything, the '69/70 version end brackets seem to engage and hold the radiator tanks over a larger surface area since the brackets have the longer "drop" on them.
