400G Engine Block and parts
This engine was built about 7 years ago and I've had it in my '69 442 since. Has less than 1000 miles on it. I disassembled the engine and am in the process of transferring most of the high performance parts to another engine build. There is NOTHING wrong with this block and it was running up until about 2 weeks ago. I'm just trying to gauge the marketability of the thing with this post. If I get no responses, it'll get bagged and stored in my garage.
It's the bare block with caps (studs and nuts included) and I'll leave the front cover and oil filter adaptor on it. It had a double row chain on it and you can have that as well. $250 for all of it. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you some photos. I'm located in western NC.
I was told it was bored 30 over when built but I haven't actually checked it. Cylinder surfaces are excellent. If you want the pistons (with rings) that were in it, you can have them for another $100. They're also in great shape and I have the oil pump available as well.

Oil pump $25

I'm building a 455 for the car. This 400G had some good aftermarket hardware on it and I'm cannibalizing what I can to use in the 455. The block is the main part that'll be left over. It's not the original block to the car. I have that engine tucked away in the garage so I don't really have a need for the extra block. I know it's got limited demand but maybe there's somebody out there wanting to put together a 400G for their '68 or '69 442 or somebody else looking to upgrade from a small block. It'd be pretty easy since I have the matching pistons as well.
